Risk Mitigation with EASESlips, trips, and falls (STF) are a leading cause of severe work-related injuries and fatalities. The causes of STF events on walking and working surfaces are often obvious after the fact, but frequently overlooked prior to a loss. The EASE review walks the user through an evaluation of the Environment (physical factors), Actions (behavioral factors), Safety measures (control options), and Evaluation strategies (effectiveness and sustainability). Applying the EASE concepts from this presentation offers a way to effectively identify and mitigate STF risk factors before a loss event occurs and to facilitate corrective actions after and event.After this session, you will be able to:

1.      Explain EASE.

2.      Identify STF risk factors.
